WHAT COMES IN THE COSMETOLOGY KIT?

Students at The Institute of Beauty and Wellness receive their professional kit items, and state board fees included in the cost of their schooling. Our custom, professional, student kit will include the professional tools you’ll need to practice and perfect those hand on skills, as well as all your study materials to help you ace those exams. iPad and Curriculum:

Say goodbye to heavy textbooks! In your student kit, you’ll receive a shiny new iPad and access to Learn Aveda. Created by Aveda and Pivot Point International,  this revolutionary,  digital curriculum will give you  access to study games; cutting and styling videos; exam study guides; and classmate connections at your fingertips. By using Aveda and Pivot Point International curricula, you will be learning twice the techniques in cutting, color and texture.  School just became even more fun!  

Aveda Tools and Products:

Aveda products are salon-professional, plant-based, cruelty free products designed with environmental leadership and responsibility. Aveda products are manufactured with 100% wind-power in their primary facility. Aveda no longer manufactures any products formulated with parabens, and the majority of Aveda products contain no animal-derived ingredients. A small number of products may contain beeswax or honey. You can feel good about the products you’ll be using.

We’ll hook you up with the use of all our Aveda styling products and Aveda hair color while you’re in school. Your student kit will include Aveda products you’ll use frequently, like lotions and oils. You’ll be slaying the makeup game with your Aveda makeup brush sets.

Hair Cutting and Styling Tools:

You’ll receive the number one shear brand in America, Hattori Hanzo shear set. Forged from the finest Japanese Steel, these professional grade shears will last well into your professional career with regular sharpening. Whether it’s the cover of Vogue, New York Fashion week, or Back Stage on Broadway, you will find these shears going to work. Left handed? Don’t worry, you’ll get special lefty shears!
 Your student kit also includes multiple manikin heads needed for your cutting curriculum, Andis clippers, Pivot Point hot styling tools, including curling iron, flat iron and blow dryer, diffusers, and miscellaneous cutting and styling tools.

Manicuring and Pedicuring Tools:

Don’t forget about nails! You’ll receive the tools needed for nail services including Zoya professional nail products, file, and buffers.
